Honestly, that top-down shooter part is really below average. Death target mechanics should make gameplay more interesting, but instead it barely makes difference

Yeah, the death target thing turned out to be kind of underwhelming. Might have been better if I had more specific targets to aim for instead, and if it rewarded you for meeting the target rather than taking away if it doesn't :)

Hey, Nice game you have here! Core gameplay is simple, but Inventive. And you have really addicting gameplay and interesting levels to back it up! Checkpoint placement is both generous and reasonable. Good job, guys!

But it wasn't smooth ride

Nomad will suddenly fall, if I release key. Similar sudden moves happens, if I want to change directions or keep character in one point. Therefore I died a lot in tight places with spikes (the thing that I definitely don't like in this game). Its better if you focus on puzzle solving, not making player perfect their movement.

Yeah, some of the spike mazes are cool, but it is not always clear where to go and what to do, especially if you on the rush. Especially if you dealing with teleportation balls.

It took me some time to get used to summon wind on the fly. I often confused the direction. Speaking of - whats up with these key combinations (like level restart etc)?

Graphics are quite crusty. Sprites are ok, but general look and composition not pretty. And some pixels are bigger than others (which I didn't notice at first, but when I do - boy, Its ugly).

In conclusion, its great game! Keep up good work!

Hey thank you so much for the feedback!!

I wanted the controls to be as instant/responsive as possible, but I understand where you're coming from! Thinking about it, having a "hover" button option that also uses up the "air gauge" would have been interesting (hindsight for sure lol). I like that idea a lot... Also, I think I messed up importing the sprites and its something I need to work on a lot.

I plan on expanding on this game to be more later in the year and will keep this in mind! And wow, you have the lowest death so far!

It's okay shmup with ok graphics. I wish it could be translated to English. And small intro/tutorial would be nice.

Generic platformer with really sensitive controls, nothing special. I wish camera could be closer to character - everything is so small

Yes, you are completely right. The game was originally made in few days for game jam, so there was no time to make it super innovative. Same with camera and graphics. I wanted to have everything as simple as posible. But super huge thanks for your review and thanks for playing. :)

Well, for the whole game I just holding left arrow button and repeatedly pressing S button. Really boring

Yeah, it's really plays like '80 arcade game. But drawbacks is that it really repetitive and don't provide decent challenge. And also it's impossible to avoid bullets from red plant.

It's okay. Game could be better if it has more landscape variety, but not only island with a hole in it

Thanks for the feedback, Hoork! I've now added 3 different ground varieties, which affect how quickly / slowly your ball moves. Should add a little more variety!

Hey, not bad. I like that you can play in different modes and have a different experience with same assets. But despite all of that, find gold apples was a pain in the ass, especially in the spooky level. Just make a mini map or make apples more visible from the distance. By the way, flashlight in spooky mode have a ridiculous range. Make it significantly more powerful next time.

I know the apples are sometimes hard to find but if they aren't, it wouldn't be a search but just a errant to pick up all the apples. I tried to avoid that. The spooky level is the hardest, so the apples are hidden well and visibility is limited but maybe you are right that it is too limited.

Pretty shaky "game", literally. This clip have pretty good visual style and good atmosphere. In my opinion it would be more acceptable if you do this thing as movie, no just a "game"(fast clicking is annoying actually).

p.s. This stuff took forever to fully load. Compress your files, goddamnit!

Well, it's started intriguing, but then it gets disappointing. There is no detailed explanation about the plot. Some part is not logical at all. Why did I have been convicted for killing someone, if i just go home and sleep? Whose is this house? Who is that woman? I'm confused.
